About Me

My name is Amber. My last name isn't important, mostly because I hate my last name...but also just because it isn't important. If you follow me on any other social media sites you'll see that my name is always "Amber Sabri". Sabri is my middle name, which I love, so I prefer to go by that, kind of my stage name if you will. 

I was born on July 3, 1991. If you've done the math right then you know that makes me 22 years old. I'm a cancer,  that makes me creative, emotional, and nurturing. If you're into the whole horoscope thing, like I am, then go look up cancers; it literally defines me perfectly. I'm very maternal/motherly and LOVE taking care of others. It's my greatest attribute & biggest downfall. Sometimes I put others before myself & forget to take care of me. I love my family, it always comes first & foremost in my life.I reside in Orange County/LA. I was born & raised in CA, it's honestly the greatest place ever! I'd love to travel one day though. Being able to experience other cultures has always been a passion of mine! I don't think there's any better education than just getting out there & traveling the world. As much as I love the California sun, I love the snow! Winter is my favorite season. Being all snuggled up next to the fire, warm blankets, hot coco; maybe that's the romantic in me. 

Some of my greatest passions in life are dance & music. I've been dancing since I was 2 years old & now I teach it at a studio. It's honestly the greatest job in the world. I get to combine my love for dance with my love for children. Not only that, but I get paid to do it! I also LOVE music, every kind. The fact that there's always a song to reflect how I'm feeling is so amazing to me. I play the guitar, piano & I sing. It's been a hobby of mine since I was in 4th grade. Another passion of mine is writing. I keep a journal where I can let out my most inner thoughts/feelings and every once in a while write a couple of songs. Aside from that, I like blogging & creative writing. I'm working on a book, that probably will never be published, but it's on my bucket list of things to accomplish! 

If you're reading my blog, then you know of my need to find love! I'm the biggest hopeless romantic you'll ever meet. In this blog you'll find stories of dates I've been on and advice on men & dating. I've interviewed some of my closest guy friends (and believe me I know every type of guy there is) and gotten their side of the story when it comes to girls & dating. I hope to share my knowledge with girls going through the same things I am. With love there comes heartbreak but there's also that light at the end of the tunnel, which I'm hoping to find & help others find!
